The Band Toto Asia
Toto was expanding its production facilities in the overseas market and operating in France, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. North America was seen as a market that would grow for bidet and washlet toilet seats, in contrast to its "base" markets in Japan and China.
Dhaniram Toto documented Toto words so that the next generation could understand the words. Many words were replaced by foreign words. For example, dui, which is Bengali for verandah was being used.
Origins
Incorporated in 1917, Toto's beginnings mirrored Japan's growth. In the early years of its existence, the company produced products to meet the demands of modern and contemporary urban housing. To do this, it employed the country's first tunnel kiln to make ceramics in a continuous flow. It also pioneered automation for production control, allowing greater efficiency and consistency.
The company began expanding internationally in the late 1980s to take advantage of new markets and sales opportunities. It created the Cera Trading Company, importing and marketing other products from other manufacturers to complement its own lines of plumbing fittings and sanitary earthenware. This strategy helped to increase sales and expand the firm’s global market share.
In the late 1990s, Toto had shifted its focus on research and development of household appliances that use water. It also upgraded its distribution system to better serve the needs of its customers and increase profits. The company employed the same just-in time approach in its supply chain management as well as sales program. This led to a higher degree of customer satisfaction.
Toto continues to invent toilet technology. Its most recent toilet, for example, has a powerful tornado flush that is more eco friendly than conventional toilets. The company also makes use of recycled water in its manufacturing process and has a green procurement policy. Toto also manufactures faucets, bathtubs and hand dryers that have higher energy efficiency than typical models.
The first Toto museum opened in the year 2015. It has exhibitions on Toto’s seminal products as well as their evolution, group companies (all of which are made of ceramics), the history of plumbing, and products such as bath units. In an additional gallery, you can view Toto products that are sold throughout. 안전놀이터 순위 has a bathroom that includes a WASHLET toilet as well as other toilet-related innovations.
Before beginning the formation of Toto members of the group did session work for various musicians. Boz Scaggs album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich as well as guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather and drummer Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also played on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
With a name like Asia you'd expect the group to be prog queens and kings but they're actually a fairly straightforward rock group. The band began as four-piece, and released two albums: 1979's self-titled debut and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. The group has a wide musical background but their biggest success came in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a huge blockbuster, but not without difficulties. The record companies placed Toto under pressure to release an album that was a success or else they would pull the album. Luckily for Toto, they did and they did it with the aid of the smash single "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery owes a lot to their previous experiences, as the band members had been session musicians for artists like Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, and Seals and Crofts prior the group. Their distinctive sound has become the standard for the '80s, and has influenced many contemporary artists.
The album begins with a hefty dose of hard rock with tracks like Running Out of Time and Unknown Soldier showcasing the bands ability to write amazing AOR songs that slowly work their hooks into your. The album also features slow, jazzier tracks like The Little Things and Chinatown. The album ends with Great Expectations. This song is a mix of folk and the distorted AOR, which should sound completely wrong but actually is very effective.
After Toto IV, the band's fortunes began to wane. David Hungate left the band to pursue a solo career, and the band had several drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball left the group due to drug charges. The band continued with Michael Porcaro, Steve Lukather and Michael Porcaro.
Despite the turbulence, Toto forged ahead and released Isolation however, which was not as successful as IV. However, the band still had a successful chart-topping album in 1992, Kingdom of Desire. This album marked the conclusion of the original Toto lineup and was the first album featuring the new singer, Simon Phillips.

Line-up
Turn Back, the band's third studio album it was an attempt to return to the classic sextet format and it was a more consistent, more powerful effort that had a more grittier edge. The more edgier sound of Turn Back was a reflection of the maturation in the group. Bobby Kimball's growing ability to play was evident in the vocals of Joseph Williams, who had become more confident and mature. David Paich's keyboard skills were as well more refined, more precise and less akin to previous efforts.
After touring to promote their album, the group recorded the band's Amsterdam live show that was released by Eagle Records as a 2-CD set titled Falling In Between. The group released their new studio album a few months later, and went on a world tour help promote it. During this time keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich, and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.
In 1998, Paich and Lukather started searching through old demo tapes and tapes to make a new album featuring songs that had never been recorded before. The album was released in 2001 as a double album titled Then & Now. It was the band's first album that did not contain a single song titled "A". The album also included a previously unreleased track "Kari-Anne".

By 먹튀검증 커뮤니티 , Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure and vocalist Williams suffered from a bad laryngitis infection that limited his singing abilities. Hungate also returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming duties were replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.
Downes, Wetton Palmer and Howe, the founding members of Asia were in England in the early part of 2006 to discuss the possibility that the group could be revived. The group, which was missing Howe who was working with Yes at the period, was later renamed Toto XIV. They toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin.
